My Special Nanny Home Daycare and Personel Services is a Licensed Private Home Child Care Agency. We also place both Live-in and Live-out Nannies. Some of the other services provided by My Special Nanny Services are Geriatric Care, Private Nursing, Escorts and Homemakers and Tutoring Services for all ages.
The first Daycare was opened in 1974 and from that begining came the many businesses running today. Presently, there are three Nursery schools, three Before and After School Programs, Home Daycare Service and the Nanny Service. Recently, branches are being opened in the Greater Toronto Area with the main Head Office in Oakville, Ontario.

Family Life as a unit has changed dramatically since the end of the Second World War where increasing number of women joined the workforce. In many cases both parents worked for personal and economic reasons. Another factor is the increase in the number of single parent families. The third focus is the mobility of many of today's families. Work often means that families move away from relatives so childcare is not available from a family member.
With all these factors in place, the need for childcare has increased and home based programs make the majority of childcare. At My Special Nanny, we offer both home based care where a nanny will come to your home and home Daycare where you take your child to a home we have screened and approved according to the regulations of the Day Nurseries Act.
